If you wear glasses long enough, you will run into a situation were your glasses break or are severely out of shape. When this happens it can be a traumatic event if we do not have a spare or back-up pair of eyewear. Some traditional metal frames can be soldered, while other types may have to be sent out. Your optician may be able to solder your frames in-house if they are made of a nickel alloy or stainless steel. If you have a plastic or zyl acetate frame it may be trickier to fix if the frame is broken, but your optician may have a few tricks to repair them temporarily. It is recommended to keep a spare pair of glasses, especially if you have a prescription in which you would find it hard to do your daily activities. Ask about our promotions for additional eyewear.
